This book was lent to me by my Yemeni best friend and dear sister, Dalia, who's a graduate of medicine and biology. I never got the chance to give be back to her yet, but hopefully one day i'd be able to return it. She has taught me so much about what's beneficial and what's harmful for our body. Her words still echo in my ears and mind. She was very soft, caring and mature.
May God bring us together in happy occasions and bless our meetings and time. Amen.

The project was divided into two main sections:
The first section:
He talked about the importance of his project and the reasons as to why he chose this specific subject.
There were also brief extracts about the the medical break-out and its progress throughout the years and across the globe and civilisations, such as, the ancient Greeks, Romans,Persians, the Israelites, Indian, Indian, Chinese, Egyptians and Arabs. There was also a part that talked about the medical basics and principles pointed at in the Noble Qur'an and the Prophet Muhamed's Teachings (Hadeeths).
Moreover, there are some paragraphs giving reviews of other projects and reference to the books related to the 'prophetic medicine'
A significant part of this section was dedicated to the biography of the initial original author of 'The Prophetic Medicine' book, Jalaalu Deen As-Sayooti, with reference to this latter's projects, books, and achievements.
Furthermore, Hasan Al-Ahdal, gave a detailed review and analysis of the first book -by As-sayooti- relying on the 4 main copies he got hold of.
In addition, The author mentioned his work and additions he made to the first book - by As-Sayooti. Some of the aspect he did were:
-Comparing and merging the different copies of As-sayooti's book and making notes of the differences.
- Checking the prophet teachings' (Hadeeth) chains and the reporters' names and adding what was missing.
- Verifying and referencing the Quran verses quoted in As-Sayooti's book.
- Verifying and correcting the unintentional mistakes that were made by the copiers of As-Sayooti's book.
- Correcting and altering the spelling to match best with today's standardised grammar and spelling.
- Clarifying the ambiguous vocabulary/terminoly and jargon, as well as the expressions in the Hadeeths in As-Sayooti's book.
-Adding an introduction (about medicine, its services, growth, progress and propagation)
-Adding index and appendices.
- Highlighting the main titles and commented on the resources used and references added in the copies.
and much more.
The second section: involveda series and a chain of the prophetic medical teachings (hadeeths) and verses from the Noble Qur'an with regards to the human body, health and diseases.
Some of the prominent titles were:
- Medical terminology
- The natural elements - water, soil, fire, air..

- the reproductive system.
- The bones.
- Th blood.
-Treatment with colours, places, positions, cleanliness and food.

This is one of my top favourite books I've ever read in Arabic. All praise be to God, I benefited greatly from it. There are still some aspects I struggle to understand, but with a good research in depth in the matter, I'm positive that all ambiguity will fade away.
Several teachings and verses have given me a new understanding of the human body in connection with the environment and food. My lifestyle changed after my brain had sensibly analysed and absorbed the significant facts mentioned in numerous passages throughout this book.
1- The paragraphs that marked me the most are:
The one about diet, what's recommended to eat in which season. How much should one each to control the stomach size. The important kinds of food and their benefits on the body systems.
2- The one about the reproduction system, which included many prophetic explanations about babies development. The factors that determine the baby's resemblance to the paternal or maternal family. The factors that determine the gender of the baby. The principles of bed-life and cleanliness.
3- The extract about our daily behaviour and activities we may do without much thought of how our bodies may react to that. A simple example would be, how to drink water, standing or sitting, sucking or pouring it into the mouth, the material of the water container, drinking with one hand or both, if one only, then which one.
Another example would be about sitting, sitting in the shade, the sun, between the shade and the sun. sitting positions, sleeping positions and why some positions are more recommended than others, as well as, their impact on the body.
What amazed me about these prophetic teachings is the details and the depth. Almost nothing was left unanswered. There was even a part on how to examine ones health (specifically the digestive system) through excrement!
Very detailed and well analysed.
Alhamdoulillah. May this be an ongoing charity for my beloved sister Dalia, what's best than offering knowledge to our fellow brother/sister in humanity.
Bye now, xx
